It was in Autumn 2011 when I started feeling sick. What started off as simple dizzy spells turned out to be a severe form of anxiety with panic attacks, meaning nausea, severe sweating, vertigo and accelerated heartbeat but above all, the feeling I was dying while no one could help me. As the panic attacks became more and more frequent, I became more desperate on finding a solution: despite blood analyses and check-ups, doctors couldn’t find anything for what I had not identified with anxiety just yet.
It wasn’t until I walked into the practice of a doctor in Ayurveda that it became clear to me what the reasons of my suffering were… Work-related stress, a difficult childhood, negative surroundings in my recent past and toxic habits to forget about my pain had lead to this.
For nearly three years I worked on healing myself with the help of Yoga and Ayurveda. I became determined to study this 5000-year old science to share my knowledge with the world. I left the corporate environment to be of help to all those other people in similar situations. Because healing doesn’t mean taking a pill to ease the symptoms; it means digging deep into the cause of your imbalance, facing it and purify from the roots. This is how we get back to being ourselves, healthy and with the will to live.

Good health starts with good digestion, we are what we eat: anything we put in our body becomes part of our tissues, our organs, our systems. It is not only about what we eat, but also how and when we eat, whether it is in the corresponding season and at the right time of the day for the body to assimilate both the nutrients and separation of toxins to be eliminated. We were designed to move, but in modern life we spend more time sitting in offices than we do standing, so our ailments go from general weakness to stiffness, lack of energy and repeated injuries, being these a reflection of the accumulated stress that manifests physically. Ayurveda and Yoga are scientific systems that are nearly 5000 years old, designed to not only heal on the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level, but to also avoid further imbalance and disease: the science that maintains our health. When digestion is not good due to stress, sleep is poor; when sleep is of bad quality, it affects digestion, concentration, productivity and in the end, the simple joy to live.
Inside you is the knowledge of what is good for you and how to stay healthy, interacting with your environment in harmony. My mission is to awaken that knowledge in you, to bring you consciousness. Together we will work on analyzing your current state of health on all levels, to work out a program that contains the right diet, Yoga and Pranayama and simple habits, which step by step brings you back to being you. Being healthy is not a luxury, it is a basic need, as happiness is our birthright.
Ayurveda, translated as the Science of Life, is a system of medicine that is believed to have been created more than 5000 years ago in India. It is the oldest medical science recognized by the World Health Organization, basing itself not only in curing individuals from their imbalances, but also maintaining them healthy and thus prevent falling ill in the future. Ayurveda looks for the cause of our ailments, removing it by purifying the body and mind, and replacing it with healthy habits that are satmyic, or compatible, with the person and life in general. The basis of Ayurveda called the three pillars are diet, rest and the right use of our energy. It is said that one can sleep well for a lifetime without getting rest. The aim is to live a long life that excels by its quality, in harmony with our environment.
Good health is achieved by staying within the parameters of our natural individual constitution, also called prakruti, our balance between the three doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha. We ensure all our body tissues are of optimum quality, having the correct flow of both nutrients and toxins for their posterior elimination through the channels. It is the objective of Ayurveda to keep us in balance on all levels and to correct disruptions where necessary. Ayurvedic treatments and programs are a transformational process on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. They are designed specifically according to the person’s needs: it is not a passive process, but a project that we work on together as a team. Through Ayurveda I will teach you how to take control over your life and your health.

Reiki is an alternative healing therapy that works with energy. It was created in Japan around 1922. We all have blockages due to past trauma or present stress, closing or contaminating one or more of our chakras, also called wheels of energy. Through Reiki we channel the ki (Japanese), prana (Sanskrit) or chi (Chinese), which is Universal energy through our hands to let it flow through your system in order to balance your chakras. Reiki will leave you feeling soothed, relaxed and in many occasions also sleepy.
Sessions are done on a massage bed while fully dressed. The hands of the therapist are placed on different parts of the body, analyzing possible obstacles and closed chakras and letting Reiki dissolve them so the energy can flow freely. A typical Reiki session lasts for 1 hour and is done with the use of crystals like tourmaline or white and rose quartz which are placed on the body to boost the energetic cleanse. Get in touch with me to get more information on what Reiki can do for you and book your session.

In today’s society there is a lot of pressure on us to perform, working with tight deadlines and at a fast pace. This doesn’t mean that when stress gets the best of us, we should just give up and give in. Balance means we have the inner strength to deal with everyday situations. Therefore, we design personalized urban retreats, workshops and in-house trainings to teach employees how to take care of themselves within the corporate environment through mindfulness, Yoga, Ayurveda and meditation. Events are always tailor-made. Taking care of the individuals that push the organization forward is a long-term investment and will not only bring down the level of absence, but it will keep your teams energized and motivated.
I offer events that will bring harmony among the employees of your organization. Because in the end it is not only about taking care of ourselves, it is about taking care of each other and to see the company as a whole instead of a number of separate individuals. That is how great ideas come to life.
Have you decided you want to know more about how you can benefit by working with me through personalized health programs, Ayurvedic treatments, Yoga and Reiki? Great, get in touch with me through the form to walk through your needs. On the other hand, if you represent a company interested in knowing more on how to boost the well-being of her employees, let’s talk. I would love to hear your ideas and needs, from programs to Yoga classes or workshops to introduce the healthy habits in the organization. Throughout my years of experience in the corporate environment it is proven Yoga and Ayurveda offer great benefits to those who work in offices: good postures, high energy levels and strong emotional and mental health are fundamental when it comes to ensuring productivity.
