Ayurveda, translated as the Science of Life, is a system of medicine that is believed to have been created more than 5000 years ago in India. It is the oldest medical science recognized by the World Health Organization, focusing not only on curing individuals from their imbalances, but also maintaining them healthy and thus prevent falling ill in the future. Ayurveda looks for the root cause of disease, removing it through the purification of the body, mind and soul, and replacing it with healthy habits that are satmyic – compatible – with the person and life in general.
I am a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, Yoga teacher and Reiki Master. I grew up with herbal remedies like oils and decoctions that my parents and grandparents prepared for me to keep me healthy or to heal me from my ailments. Spices like ginger, turmeric, cumin and fennel were always part of our kitchen and medicine cabinet.
From 2014 to 2017 I studied a Master in Ayurvedic Therapy at the University of Barcelona (through the Sant Joan de Déu institute linked to the hospital). During the Summers of 2016 and 2017 I completed my clinical practice at the Patanjali Ayurved College and Patanjali Ayurved Hospital founded by Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna in Haridwar, India. In July 2020 I obtained a diploma in Western Medicine (CPION Medische Basiskennis). I am also a trained Hatha Vinyasa Yoga teacher (RYT-200) and Usui Ryoho Reiki Master (Alianza Española de Reiki).
It is my purpose to help people understand their own health problems so they can learn how to take care of themselves. If you know the root cause of your ailment, only then you can start following the right path to reverse your situation. You can start with simple lifestyle and dietary changes right for your mind-body type, adjusting to the season. As an Ayurvedic Practitioner, I work with cleansing techniques, herbs, treatments and give personalized advice on lifestyle habits which range from simple daily routines to yoga postures, pranayama exercises and chanting of mantras.
Any goal needs a plan and a process. Below you will find my work method to ensure all areas are covered to kickstart your wellness coaching program and journey to optimum digestion feeling energized and youthful again.
Conversation on your background, current diet, digestion, physical activity, sleeping patterns, habits and overall lifestyle.
This includes checking your eyes, tongue, skin, nails, hair and abdomen. Your pulse is taken to determine your constitution.
An analysis of your Ayurvedic constitution and causes of imbalance will be made from all the information collected during the intake.
Overview of recommendations including diet, Yoga, pranayama, Ayurvedic treatments and daily and seasonal routines.

I tried few yoga places in Barcelona, and I mostly got disappointed as everyone thinks yoga it’s something easy and they don’t understand that it’s more then this! Pamela me explicó por primera vez que no era normal tener una digestión tan débil y que se debía a que había acumulado residuos en el cuerpo que afectan el sistema digestivo. Me propuso introducir una serie de hábitos en el día a día para empezar a eliminarlos. A parte, también me examinó para determinar mi dosha (el tipo de cuerpo que tienes en ayurveda) y poder definir la dieta y hábitos para promover el equilibrio de los doshas. Pamela lo explica muy bien, de forma comprensible y con la suficiente profundidad para entender las bases. Aunque en mi caso ya llevaba una buena dieta me ayudó a priorizar unos alimentos sobre otros y mejorar horarios.
Los resultados en ayurveda son lentos pero contundentes. Valoro sobre todo lo que he aprendido sobre salud y cómo el tipo de cuerpo de cada quién influye en sus necesidades. Vale la pena el esfuerzo porque lo que aprendes puedes aplicarlo el resto de tu vida. Aunque todavía me queda mucho por hacer (quiero iniciarme en el yoga y acabar de pulir la alimentación) estoy satisfecho con la evolución hasta ahora. En resumen, muy recomendable ponerse en manos de Pamela. La solución del Ayurveda no es rápida, cómo las drogas de la medicina común, pero permite recuperar la salud real para evitar enfermedades. read less
